It doesn't matter.
A tree will always stand up,
Like man, against wind.

I can point blame in any direction
Say it's this person or that thing
That causes me so much heartache
Causes me to fail so outstandingly.
But in reality
When all the pride washes off
And I can really focus, see clear
I find myself encased by a mirror
Seeing only what I want to.

Today I have discovered the cure
For any and all disease
The world is at my feet
I does with it what I please

Today I understood
Without really having to think
And in that precious moment
My shallow heart sank.

I learned a few new things today
I'll repeat them for you now
The element of all our suffering
Is our insatiable alimentary canal.

I graduated today,
All the world is bliss,
And the only reason I came here
Was for lusts carnal kiss

Today I saved a life
She thanked me through and through
She thanked me while I lay her down
And made her some hot stew.

Today I wrote a song
Published it, and sang
Today I am a millionaire
This evening I will hang

Now as the sun sets on this day
And my mind, she settles down
I begin to think of all the things I've done
And I remove my shiny crown.

Today I was all these things
If only on this stage
And the only constant ringing thing
Is my everlasting rage.

Like rain on a pond
You again disturbed my dreams
Fed me with despair.

Saturday, May 4, 2013

I broke my tongue once,
She mended it with whisper,
Inspired I spoke.

I write for myself
It mellows my shifting mind
I write to define.

Regret 97

Regrets? I have one.
All those restless nights I spent
Worrying for you.

Of Bones and Brains!

Of Bones and Brains:
We dont say touch
When coming inside.
We dont play games
Eat figs
Or Hide
The masters wishes
Are often Aloof
And many wicked playmates
In a flash go poof!
Our undies are under
The thunderous clout
Of a gigantic
Rectal spout.
The gardens!
They are lovely.
In the feathery spring
The roses,
The moses
Those vaginal things.
Oh to sniff
But a whiff
Of rosey delight
My pants, perchance
In a moment take flight!

The creaking
And Squeaking
And Leaking
Those humps
Those bumps
Make a grown man snore.
That brittle little body
Full of sawdust and paper
If I were her mother
At her birth I would SHAKE HER
Salt covered heirlooms
Are all she has left
Of a once wondrous mind
That maybe time had theft.
Poor little ragged
muffin mouthed mouse
If only just once
She had left her small house.
To see the world
Wasnt as bad
As IT seemed
The busties and rusties and musties
They gleam!
Dishes are done
By poor immigrants
Who live in shackles
And huddle in tents.
Poor Lenore
Poor poor Lenore
How rich and wise
You never were.

Drawn unnatural,
Formed complacent. Blame the kids!
For all we allowed.

As we near the start
We are drawn to the unknown
As we near the end.

Monday, April 29, 2013

The mind plays lucid
Some may flounder, others rise
Focusing never.

Atrophy bred with
an heir of indifference:
Scent of the soigné.

Saturday, April 27, 2013

A monstrosity,
Cursed quoin of the Empire,
Blessed guillotine.

Friday, April 26, 2013

Plunged into the deep
We crawfish beneath the rock
To study our prey.

Thursday, April 25, 2013

Is it our nature
To be engaged or gander
In times uncertain?

Wednesday, April 24, 2013

We decamped at dusk
Bound only by the tree line
Abandoned by time.
